It lists a large number of the social bookmarking/tagging services, some I hadn't even heard of, as well as discussing the implications of the trend, folksonomies, etc. (13 pp.)
Library WebHead is the blog of one librarian who focuses on web technologies (per a former colleague - a library "webhead"). Web2.0 articles: NPR's story on YouTube & Searcher's on Social Bookmarking
NPR's Morning Edition had a story on the epic growth of YouTube, a new Web2.0 company that allows users to freely upload video clips and share them with each other. (see story at http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=5516885) If you haven't heard of it or tried it out yet, you should take a look - this is popular web service de jour. Also, take a look at this article from June's edition of Searcher magazine on Social Bookmarking - available through iCONN's InfoTrac at http://find.galegroup.com/itx/infomark.do?&contentSet=IAC-Documents&type=retrieve&tabID=T003&prodId=ITOF&docId=A146693738&source=gale&srcprod=ITOF&userGroupName=20231&version=1.0
